I am a visual artist from The Dominican Republic. I currently live in the city of Philadelphia, USA.
From a very young age I was interested in art, like any child. Over the time I kept that interest and studied a degree at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo.
I have participated in several national and international exhibitions. In 2016 I did my first solo show. Since then, I have continued my journey exploring with different materials and techniques, mainly acrylics, oils, watercolors, etc.
MY art is a living expression of my experiences on this earthly plane and perhaps on some others
. Each piece represents my unique essence, where it stands out unconsciously, showing me much more than I could imagine. It is a journey to each stage of my life where I have explored the most disturbing moments and at the same time found the light, hope and the faith in me.
Inspiration comes from all possible sources that I can imagine, from the simplest microorganism in existence, to the most complex body.
My art is the purest connection I have with my soul, it is an introspection to the deepest part of me. It is a world where I can go and be me without asking permission; It is an extension of me.
